Transforming skeins of yarn into handmade masterpieces.
Transforming skeins of yarn into handmade masterpieces.
Crochet is traditionally done with 1 hook, hence the term “hooker.”
As a Traveling Hooker, my hooks and yarn go everywhere with me. Beginning in Michigan at the age of 12, to Germany and Utah with the Army, Pennsylvania and family, and for now…Florida where we call home. Colorado, West Virginia, and everywhere in between - the world is my muse.
Traveling Hooker is the perfect place to find that ‘one-of-a-kind,’ crocheted, hand-made gift for yourself or everybody else. Completely customizable to your preferences: Choice of yarn(s), colors, shapes, and sizes.
In the past, I had a passion for all different types of crochet from animals to plants, ear warmers and gloves, to kitchen wares. Our recent encounter with Hurricane Helene made me rethink my inventory due to loss. I am now concentrating on my baby line as well as my Bolero Shrugs. As a Jeep owner, there will be a few ducks thrown in for fun! And manatees because…well, this is Florida!
My crochet motto: if you don’t see it here, I can make it!
East to west, north to south. Hooking my way around the world!
